Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Separate After Nearly 28 Years of Marriage
After almost three decades together, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have gone their separate ways.
A representative for Loughlin confirmed on Thursday, October 2, that the couple is “living apart and taking a break from their marriage.” The rep also noted that no legal proceedings are currently underway.
The news comes six years after the pair became embroiled in the 2019 college admissions scandal. Both Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty in May 2020 to charges tied to paying bribes to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California as crew recruits.
Loughlin, best known for her role on Full House and various Hallmark projects, was sentenced to two months in prison and released in December 2020. Giannulli served five months and was released in April 2021.
Since then, Loughlin has gradually returned to acting, appearing in When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, a spinoff of When Calls the Heart.
The couple, who married in 1997, share two daughters: Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose.
At this time, neither has commented publicly on what the future holds for their relationship.
