However, she found solace inside, proudly exhibiting an extravagant Off-White custom dress designed by IB Kamara. Unsurprisingly, the design was a dramatic black and white gown with an asymmetrical neckline and an excessively lavish flowing sleeve reaching the floor.

Designer Kamara stated the dress was made purely from cady silks, conveying a luxurious texture to it. The ostentatious display of luxury, amid a country grappling with substantial economic and social issues, seemed slightly out of touch for a political figure. Kamala attempted to add subtle flair to an already over-the-top outfit with an emerald green ring and matching earrings.
