TV Personality Paul Hollywood Makes a Public Appeal after Brother’s Assault
Famed TV personality Paul Hollywood is making a public appeal following an assault on his brother, Lee Hollywood. He used his social platform, Instagram, to discuss what occurred on August 10. In the post, he requests for anyone with knowledge of the Friday night incident to step forward. The caption of his message simply read, ‘Regarding the recent assault against my brother, Lee, any detail or information will be invaluable. Please contribute as instructed in the details below. Thank you.’
The information accompanying his plea was credited to the Wirral Police Department. They had released a statement saying, ‘We request cooperation from anyone who witnessed a man being attacked in Leasowe on the night of August 8, Friday.’
The victim, a man in his fifties, was out with his dog in Links View Playing fields, near Shackleton Road. He was out for a stroll during the evening, approximately at 7.10pm. An altercation was initiated when his dog and another dog started barking at each other, which was led by another male.
The two dogs were separated by the other man, who subsequently lost his temper. A physical assault ensued after the man tried to exit the scene. It’s reported that as he was making his way from the area, he was struck from the back and was thrown to the ground.
After the sudden strike from the back and fall, the other male escalated the situation by subjecting him to further physical harm. He was kicked in the face and back before the assailant left the scene. An act of brutality followed a seemingly minor incident concerning their dogs.
The attack led to serious injuries on Lee Hollywood, particularly on his back and face. Following the assault, he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital to receive appropriate medical attention and care. His condition is being closely monitored by the medical staff.
The Wirral Police Department didn’t hold back in sharing the severity of the injuries sustained, painting a grim picture of this unhinged act of violence. They concluded their statement confirming that an extensive investigation into the incident has already commenced.
Paul Hollywood’s plea for help on Instagram rapidly accumulated responses from his followers. Numerous individuals expressed their support through their comments, praying for a quick recovery for his brother Lee and swift justice against the assaulter.
