Norris had just celebrated his 86th birthday days earlier and even shared a video of himself boxing, reflecting the discipline and energy that defined his life.

He first served in the United States Air Force before becoming a martial artist, eventually training celebrities and building a reputation that led him into Hollywood.

His breakout role came alongside Bruce Lee in “The Way of the Dragon,” which helped launch a decades-long action career.

Norris went on to star in films such as “The Delta Force” and became a household name through the hit television series “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

In later years, he found a new generation of fans through viral “Chuck Norris facts,” jokes that turned his tough-guy image into internet legend.

Beyond entertainment, Norris was also active in politics and publicly supported President Donald Trump in 2016.

He is survived by his wife, Gena O’Kelley, and his children, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most recognizable action stars of all time.
