Police Search Non Binary Ex Biden Official’s Home and Find Stolen Clothes

Following the execution of a search warrant at the Maryland residence of Sam Brinton, a disgraced ex-Department of Energy (DOE) official, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Police Department has returned articles of clothing to Asya Khamsin, a Tanzanian fashion designer.

Khamsin had reported her missing bag at Ronald Reagan National Airport years ago, which allegedly contained clothing she had designed and saw Brinton wearing in news articles.

Brinton, who was charged with felony grand larceny of items exceeding $1,000, is currently awaiting a delayed preliminary hearing in Arlington General District Court, scheduled for December.

SearBack in February, Khamsin revealed in an interview with Fox News Digital that she had seen photographs of Brinton wearing clothes with her custom designs, which were packed in the bag that mysteriously vanished at the airport on March 9, 2018.

Unfortunately, this prevented her from participating in an event in Washington, D.C., where her clothing was supposed to be showcased. She promptly reported the incident to MWAA and Delta Air Lines, but the case went cold.

It wasn’t until later that Khamsin learned about the alleged thefts committed by Brinton and decided to file a report with the police in Houston, where she resides with her husband. Subsequently, the Houston Police Department referred the case to the FBI.

In light of the theft, Khamsin has recently filed a civil suit against Brinton. It is worth noting that Brinton, a non-binary gender-fluid person, received significant media attention for their appointment to the DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy, where they oversee nuclear waste policy.

Surprisingly, Brinton managed to avoid jail time in two separate cases involving luggage thefts in Minnesota and Nevada. The Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport incident took place on September 16, after Brinton arrived from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Brinton was charged with stealing a traveler’s baggage worth a total of $2,325 from the luggage carousel. In Las Vegas, Brinton faced charges of grand larceny for allegedly stealing a suitcase from Harry Reid International Airport on July 6.

The suitcase contained jewelry, clothing, and makeup amounting to a total estimated worth of $3,670. Notably, this incident occurred while Brinton was on an official taxpayer-funded trip to the Nevada National Security Site.

In both cases, judges overseeing the proceedings decided against sentencing Brinton to jail time. Consequently, the Department of Energy announced Brinton’s departure from the agency on December 12, without disclosing further details surrounding their resignation.
