Harris Spreads Baseless Fears in feeble Presidential Campaign

Throughout her presidential campaign, Kamal Harris, the former vice president, expressed certain beliefs about what Donald Trump might do if he reached the presidential office. A compiled video that pairs Harris’ predictions with Trump’s actions has started to circulate, much to the dismay of many. Among Harris’ so-called ‘warnings’, the most prominent ones were related to Trump’s alleged adoption of Project 2025, despite his outright denials.

According to Harris, this would include a variety of executive actions aligned with the policies of Project 2025, ranging from deregulatory measures to ambitious immigration reform. Harris wanted us to believe that Trump was taking advice directly from the authors of this controversial scheme, a claim that suggested an overstated understanding of the connection between Trump and the project.

Harris also tried to claim that Trump’s decision to impose import tariffs would have a detrimental impact on the average American’s budget. This rhetoric was clearly aimed at stirring uncertainty and dissatisfaction among the American citizens, tapping into the fears of the middle-class.

In a debate with Trump, Harris took a leap of faith by suggesting that Trump would bow down to the whims of Russian President Vladimir Putin, with the aim to conquer Europe. The notion that Trump would just handover negotiating leverage concerning the ongoing conflict in Ukraine to Putin, as suggested by Politico, was an exaggeration at best.

Harris further amplified her campaign of fear by misleading the American people about her opponent’s ambition for American education. She implied that Trump would dismantle the Department of Education, cause distress, and create uncertainty among educators in Houston.

In an attempt to gather momentum in Milwaukee, Harris tried inducing fear by presenting an unfounded prediction that Trump would slash Social Security and Medicare, providing tax cuts to billionaires and well-established corporations instead. This was a clear attempt to appeal to her base by vilifying the opponent using fear tactics.

NBC tried to create supporting context by suggesting that the Republican party could not meet their budget targets without making cuts to Medicare or Medicaid. Additionally, the highlighting of baseless claims by Trump and Elon Musk about dead people exploiting the Social Security system served to further exaggerate this narrative.

In an effort to extend provisions from a 2017 tax law that would heavily favor individuals with high incomes, some Republicans were painted as complicit in this narrative. Yet again, the fear toward the potential imbalance in wealth distribution was the card being played by Harris and her team.

Harris plummeted into the realm of absurdity by suggesting to radio host Charlamagne Tha God that Trump would dispose of the Constitution altogether, endangering the civil rights of American citizens. A truly apocalyptic vision she attempted to peddle.

At a Univision Town Hall, Harris tried to paint a picture of Trump as a dictator, right from the onset of his presidency. In an interview, Trump simply expressed his intention to secure the border and enhance drilling activities – a far cry from any dictatorial tendencies.

Despite Trump’s somewhat forceful rhetoric about his first day in office, no sound observer has classified him as a dictator. The need to clarify that Trump is not a dictator, as suggested by Harris, underscores the level of campaign brinkmanship and fear-mongering that was at play.

Harris used these paranoid ‘predictions’ to build an inflated image of a Trump presidency that was steeped in fear and hysteria. The painting of Trump as a potential ‘dictator’ demonstrated the lengths she was willing to go to secure her own political interests.

These pieces of ‘Harris prophecy’ only served to depict a distorted image of Donald Trump and his potential presidency – an image that was disseminated widely, creating more division instead of instilling unity, a paramount requirement for the prosperity of any nation.
