Philadelphia Cream Cheese Unveils First-Ever Frozen Cheesecake and Cinnamon Frosting in Historic Expansion

For the first time in its 150-year history, Philadelphia Cream Cheese is adding a groundbreaking new product to its lineup — a frozen cheesecake. The beloved Kraft Heinz brand announced the debut of its all-new Philadelphia Frozen Cheesecake, marking a major step in convenience just in time for the holiday season.

The company says it sells more than 50 million pounds of cream cheese each holiday season, much of it used for cheesecakes. To streamline that process, Philadelphia spent three years developing a frozen alternative that maintains the same taste and texture fans expect. The frozen cheesecake comes pre-sliced and is available in Original and Strawberry Swirl, featuring a graham cracker crust and no artificial flavors or dyes. The strawberry version includes hand-drizzled fruit sauce.

Kraft Heinz also confirmed the cheesecake will become a permanent fixture on store shelves — not just a seasonal item.

Alongside the cheesecake, the brand is launching its Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting, a follow-up to last year’s successful entry into the frosting category. The new flavor blends cinnamon and brown sugar for what the company calls a “nostalgic” holiday taste. It’s the first in a series of seasonal frostings planned for release.

“Dessert is a daily ritual for many, but not everyone has the time to create holiday classics like cheesecake and cream cheese frosting from scratch,” said Kelli Srivastava, senior brand manager for Philadelphia. “Our new Frozen Cheesecake offers an effortless way to serve a holiday favorite, while our Cinnamon Frosting brings a nostalgic flavor.”

Both items aim to offer shortcuts without sacrificing quality or taste — and reinforce Philadelphia’s status as the top-selling cream cheese brand in America.
