Robbie Henchman Ascends to Senior Partner Role at WME

At WME, Robbie Henchman has just been promoted to a senior partner role. His responsibilities immediately now involve managing both the operations of 160over90, a premier marketing agency, and also the brand representation business of the talent agency. The clientele roster of 160over90 boasts big names such as AB InBev, Coca-Cola, DP World, Macy’s, Marriott International, McDonald’s, University of Pittsburgh, Verizon, and Visa.

Furthermore, the brand representation business of WME caters to popular companies like Lego and McDonald’s among others. Henchman’s core leadership team, namely executive vice presidents Ryan Brown, Jessica Sinn, and Justin Zambuto, will work hand-in-hand with him. These experienced team members will directly report to, and collaborate with Henchman.

Prior to his new position, Henchman was in the role of President of IMG Events and Global Partnerships. During this tenure, he took charge of managing its expansive global events portfolio; key responsibilities included leading an international sales team to bring in brand partners for owned and represented assets.

He was instrumental in bringing onboard key accounts like the Miami Open, Wimbledon, The R&A, Frieze, Taste Festivals, the Olympic & Paralympic Games, and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. In addition to managing the events portfolio, Henchman also supervised the company’s international offices as well as their sports businesses. Henchman commenced his illustrious 30-year career at IMG with a humble role, as an intern at Wimbledon back in 1995. This humble start provided him with invaluable industry insights, and formed the foundation of his subsequent growth in the company. This role allowed him to understand industry operations from a ground level, valuable knowledge that he’s carried throughout his career.

Following his initial exposure at Wimbledon, he relocated to Hong Kong. He made the move in order to be a part of IMG’s client business. The move to Hong Kong played a significant part in enhancing his industry experience, accumulating a wealth of knowledge about international business practices and client relationships.
