Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Sex Trafficking, Racketeering Charges
Noted music powerhouse, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, faces charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which are set to be heard in May. The proceedings were held in Manhattan’s federal courthouse, by U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, on Friday, April 18. Despite attempts to delay the commencement of the trial, Subramanian stood firm in his decision not to adjourn the court date.
Combs’ legal team had sought an extension of two months, citing the delay in receiving evidence from the prosecution following a revised indictment issued earlier in April. Pop singer Ventura brought a lawsuit against Combs in November of 2023, making allegations consistent with the surveillance footage, accusing him of assault.
