Trump Torches ‘Dumb As A Rock’ Kamala: ‘I Expect An Apology’
President Donald Trump ripped into Kamala Harris on Wednesday, blasting her claim that the 2024 election was the “closest Presidential Election in the 21st Century” and demanding an apology. The former vice president has been making the rounds to promote her upcoming memoir 107 Days, which recounts her short-lived presidential campaign and election defeat.
“Kamala Harris, who is DUMB AS A ROCK,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, “is going around and using, as a standard part of her Speech on why she lost the Election, that 2024 was the ‘closest Presidential Election in the 21st Century.’”
Trump included a graphic showing the 2024 electoral results, with red dominating the map, and emphasized what he called a “landslide” across every major metric. He pointed to his Electoral College win — 312 to 226 — and massive county-level victories (2,600 to 525) to refute Harris’ talking point.
“Everyone knows this is a lie, and was covered as such by Fox News,” Trump continued. “I won the Electoral College, 312-226, a LANDSLIDE, Counties Nationwide, 2,600 to 525, a LANDSLIDE, all seven Swing States, a LANDSLIDE, and, despite the fact that California’s Fake Mail In Ballots came in at ridiculous numbers (It was RIGGED!), I still won the Popular Vote by MILLIONS!”
Trump then reminded followers that past elections — like George W. Bush’s 2000 win by just 537 votes in Florida — were demonstrably closer than his 2024 rematch against Harris.
“Kamala’s ‘closest in the 21st Century’ soundbite was, like everything else in the Democrat Party, A TOTAL LIE!” he wrote. “I expect an apology. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Harris Memoir Sparks More Controversy
The criticism comes as Harris faces mounting backlash over early excerpts from 107 Days. In the book, Harris reportedly reveals that she passed over her first choice for a running mate, Pete Buttigieg, because she feared a ticket featuring a black woman and an openly gay man might alienate voters.
That revelation has prompted criticism from both sides of the aisle, with some accusing Harris of sacrificing principles for political optics.
As Harris continues her book tour, the feud between the former rivals appears to be heating up again. Trump, who has frequently mocked Harris throughout both the 2020 and 2024 campaigns, seems unwilling to let her reframe the 2024 election — especially when the numbers are on his side.
