Hunter Biden’s Deep-Rooted Relationship with Biden Administration Officials
LISTEN HERE:
A growing body of evidence reveals connections between Hunter Biden and several high-ranking officials currently serving under the direction of his father, President Joe Biden.
Reports emerged this week detailing almost twelve present and past officials from the White House and Biden administration, among them the national security adviser and the secretary of state, have deep-rooted ties with Hunter Biden.
Republican observers have long suspected that Hunter was capitalizing on his father’s influential position, a relationship that stretches back over a decade.
As per an up-to-date study by Fox News Digital, the possible impact of Hunter Biden on the White House is becoming increasingly visible, as the president’s eldest son is set to make his first court appearance on July 26.
Accused of committing two minor tax infractions and one serious gun-related crime, Hunter Biden’s looming presence has necessitated closer scrutiny.
Last month, the Justice Department disclosed that Hunter had agreed to a plea deal in the case, almost certainly sparing him from a jail sentence.
It’s at this intersection of politics and law that red flags have risen, particularly with the involvement of David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, who spearheaded the investigation.
Republicans seeking clarity around perceived irregular retaliatory actions against whistleblowers have initiated conversations around Weiss’s maneuvers.
The claim was made that the investigation was swayed by political influence, and Weiss’s prosecutorial judgment was seemingly hindered. This suggests a situation that calls for further examination.
In the scope of the expose, two serving members of Biden’s Cabinet, one ex-Cabinet member, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s leading aide, a national security adviser, five key Biden White House staff, and a primary Biden campaign assistant, currently on sabbatical from her post as first lady Jill Biden’s communications director, are all feature prominently.
Both Hunter Biden and Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser to President Biden, shared affiliation with the Truman National Security Project.
This liberal foreign policy think tank hosted both gentlemen for roughly two years. Their time together concluded when Sullivan became an active member of the president’s campaign in 2020, as highlighted by Fox News.
They served in concert on the board of the Washington-based nonprofit between 2017 and early 2019. Web archives sourced from the Wayback Machine hint towards Hunter starting his board tenure back in 2012.
Concurrently, Hunter also served on the board of Burisma Holdings, an energy company based in Ukraine, and BHR Partners, a China-based private equity fund.
A still-active federal probe into Hunter’s overseas business dealings was launched in 2018, coinciding with the above timeframe. It’s through such exchanges that potential conflicts of interest have been brought into sharper focus.
Insights from emails reviewed and validated by particular media outlets reveal and Antony Blinken, now Secretary of State, met with Hunter Biden at the State Department during July 2015.
At that point, Blinken was filling the role of deputy secretary of state in the Obama-Biden administration, while Hunter held his position on Burisma’s board.
In late May 2015, Hunter approached Blinken for a casual get-together via email saying, “Have a few minutes next week to grab a cup of coffee? I know you are impossibly busy, but would like to get your advice on a couple of things.”
A couple of months later, the meeting transpired, with Blinken expressing enthusiasm for the plan.
Following this exchange, Hunter then forwarded Blinken’s affirmative response to Devon Archer, a fellow Burisma board member and business associate.
However, the initial plans were thwarted due to the deteriorating health and subsequent hospital admission of Beau Biden, Hunter’s elder brother, to Maryland’s Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre due to an episode of brain cancer relapse.
On May 30, 2015, the tragedy struck and Beau Biden succumbed to the illness. Less than two months later, the meeting between Blinken and Hunter transpired, which subsequently led Blinken to send a cordial follow-up email, noting that it was ‘great to see’ Hunter and ‘catch up’.
In a recent revelation, former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell testified to the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees in April this year. He claimed that Blinken, while serving as the senior adviser of Biden’s then-campaign, had a significant standpoint in originating the public statement.
Signed by intelligence officials, it suggested Hunter’s deserted laptop was swept up in a Russian misinformation crusade weeks before the controversial 2020 presidential elections.
Fox News supplemented this claim noting that Blinken, throughout his years-long association with Biden and serving in a trusted role, provided counsel to the President on much more than foreign policy alone.
All these findings draw attention to connections, decisions, and influences that, while possibly unrelated to political actions, seem to be garnering significant attention due to the players involved and their relationships to President Biden’s administration.
