Urgent: Portsmouth Police Hunt for Three Missing Teen Boys

At 10:40 AM on the 2nd of August in 2025, the Portsmouth police issued a public plea, seeking assistance in locating three teenage boys who have been reported missing. This was last updated at 10:50 AM of the same day.

Thaddeus Kyle Horne, aged 16, Aiden Lee McQuage, a 15-year-old, and Jerimiah Harris, who is just 13, are the youngsters who have suddenly disappeared. They were last reportedly seen on Friday, the 1st of August 2025.

Their last known whereabouts were on the 3500 block of Race Street. Since their abrupt disappearance, community members, alongside the police, have been frantically looking for them.

The teenagers were notably dressed at the time of their disappearance. Horne, the eldest was seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans complemented by his white shoes. His outfit perhaps being a reflection of a commonly popular style among teens of his age.

McQuage, the 15-year-old, last wore a black T-shirt combined with green shorts. He was also wearing black Crocs. His casual attire seemed suited for the warmth of the summer day.

Harris, the youngest of the three at 13 years, was seen in a black zip-up hoodie with white sweatpants, accompanied by white shoes. His wardrobe selection could be said to be typical for a boy his age.

The Portsmouth police are urging anyone, who may have any relevant information, to come forward. They believe that the smallest hint or detail could be critical in locating these young boys.

This promise of anonymity extends to all cases and situations. Crime Line informants are not required to reveal their identity under any circumstances, nor are they ever obliged to testify in court.

To further encourage public participation in this case, Crime Line has announced a potential cash reward. But, for the reward to be considered, the information provided would need to lead to an impactful outcome in the case.

The impactful outcome being referred to implies either an arrest or the recovery of drugs or stolen property on account of the informant’s tip. So if a tipster through the Crime Line contributes to such an outcome, they are entitled to be considered for the cash reward.

The cash reward for such valuable tipsters can be up to $1,500. A sum that signifies the appreciation and gratitude towards the individuals taking the risk and coming forward with potentially helpful information.
