Trump Calls For Investigation Into ‘Triple Sabotage’ Of His United Nations Speech: ‘A REAL DISGRACE’

President Donald Trump is demanding an immediate investigation after what he described as “triple sabotage” during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. The president detailed a series of suspicious incidents he believes were deliberate attempts to undermine his visit — and he’s calling in the Secret Service and the UN Secretary-General to get to the bottom of it.

In a post on Truth Social Wednesday, Trump said he would be sending an official complaint to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and demanded that all security tapes be preserved. “This was a REAL DISGRACE,” Trump wrote, calling the entire episode “very sinister.”

The first incident occurred just before Trump entered the General Assembly Hall. According to the president, the escalator he and former First Lady Melania Trump were riding abruptly stopped.

“It’s amazing that Melania and I didn’t fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first,” Trump wrote. “It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or it would have been a disaster.”

Trump cited The Times of London, which reportedly noted that some UN staffers had joked ahead of the president’s visit about shutting off escalators and elevators and blaming it on the international body being “out of money.” He insisted the incident was “absolutely sabotage” and called for arrests.

But it didn’t stop there.

Once inside the auditorium, Trump said the teleprompter failed to activate for the first 15 minutes of his remarks — forcing him to deliver the opening section of his speech entirely from memory. Despite the technical failure, Trump said the address received “fantastic reviews.”

“Maybe they appreciated the fact that very few people could have done what I did,” he wrote.

A third issue followed. According to Trump, the auditorium’s sound system remained off throughout the speech, meaning that those physically present could only hear the address if they used earpieces to access interpreter audio. Even Melania, seated in the front row, told Trump afterward that she “couldn’t hear a word” he said.

“This wasn’t a coincidence,” Trump said. “This was triple sabotage at the UN.”

The president closed by urging an immediate probe into the series of malfunctions and stressed that the Secret Service is already involved.
