Kamala Harris: Biden Didn’t Pick Up — I Left a Voicemail After His Radiation Therapy News

In a recent interview, former Vice President Kamala Harris disclosed that she tried reaching President Joe Biden after news broke that he’s undergoing radiation therapy, but her call went straight to voicemail. She left a message expressing her faith in his strength and offered prayers for his recovery.

Harris did not provide details about their relationship following the call. She affirmed that she believes Biden is a fighter and that she reached out with intentions of support and empathy.

Biden’s medical team announced he is undergoing a five-week course of radiation therapy as part of his cancer treatment, in addition to hormone therapy. The former president has also had a skin cancer removal procedure earlier this year.

Harris also addressed her newly released memoir, noting that she has discussed its contents with Biden but declined to reveal any specifics about their conversation. In the book, she is outspoken about her brief 2024 presidential run and critiques aspects of the Democratic leadership.

In the same interview, Harris offered cautious praise of certain foreign policy developments, including peace efforts in the Middle East, while continuing her broader criticisms of the Trump and Biden administrations.
