Trump Declares “Golden Age of Peace” in Powerful Address to Israeli Parliament

Standing before the Knesset in Jerusalem, President Donald Trump delivered one of the most consequential speeches of his presidency, declaring that the Middle East has entered what he called a “Golden Age of Peace.” His remarks came just hours after the release of the final Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity and the implementation of a full ceasefire between Israel and Gaza—both key milestones of his administration’s peace framework.

Trump said the moment marked “a turning point in human history,” crediting Israel’s resilience and America’s leadership for bringing the long and brutal conflict to an end. “For decades, politicians promised peace while allowing chaos to reign,” Trump said. “We decided to do something different. We decided to win peace through strength.”

Addressing Israeli lawmakers, Trump outlined a broad vision for a new regional order built on deterrence, security, and economic cooperation. He reaffirmed America’s “unbreakable bond” with Israel and announced that the United States would lead a coalition of allied nations to oversee Gaza’s reconstruction under strict demilitarization terms. The president also vowed that Hamas would “never again have the power to threaten innocent lives or destabilize the region.”

The president’s plan includes international oversight of humanitarian aid, reconstruction guarantees for civilians, and expanded defense cooperation between Israel and neighboring Arab states. Trump called on nations across the Middle East to join what he described as “the coalition of peace,” encouraging countries still hostile to Israel to lay down their arms and embrace a new era of prosperity.

“The world is witnessing the dawn of something extraordinary,” Trump said. “The guns are silent, the hostages are free, and families can finally sleep without fear. That is what real peace looks like.”

Vice President JD Vance, seated alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, praised the address as “historic and visionary.” Israeli lawmakers gave multiple standing ovations, with Netanyahu thanking Trump for “restoring order through courage and conviction.”

Following the speech, Trump is scheduled to travel to Cairo for a regional summit aimed at solidifying commitments from Arab leaders and ensuring long-term enforcement of the ceasefire.

The “Golden Age” speech capped a week of rapid diplomatic breakthroughs—hostage releases, ceasefire enforcement, and Arab-Israeli dialogue—all driven by Trump’s peace-through-power strategy. Supporters in both Israel and the U.S. are calling it one of the most remarkable foreign policy accomplishments in modern history.
