Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is once again demanding President Donald Trump be removed from office—this time for ordering a precision strike on Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

The New York Democrat accused Trump of violating the War Powers Act and claimed the president acted without Congressional approval when he greenlit a direct hit on Iranian nuclear sites. In a post on social media, she called it “an impeachable offense,” ignoring the fact that the Constitution gives the president clear authority to defend the nation from imminent threats.

The airstrike, which targeted three known Iranian nuclear facilities, has been praised by national security experts and Republican lawmakers as a necessary show of strength. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth declared the mission an “overwhelming success,” and Vice President JD Vance made clear: “We are not at war with Iran.”

Still, Ocasio-Cortez and her far-left allies in Congress are seizing the opportunity to turn a successful U.S. military operation into a political attack on the Commander-in-Chief. Sen. Bernie Sanders also weighed in, accusing Trump of escalating tensions and undermining international stability—despite Iran’s clear violations of nuclear agreements and repeated threats against the United States and its allies.

Republican leaders blasted the calls for impeachment as unserious and dangerous. “President Trump took decisive action to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran,” one senior GOP lawmaker said. “That’s called leadership.”

As usual, Democrats are more concerned with scoring political points than confronting America’s enemies. And AOC’s latest tantrum only reinforces what many Americans already believe: when President Trump protects this country, the radical left sides with our adversaries.
