Musk, along with his America PAC and an affiliated organization known as United States of America Inc., were accused of violating state election laws through what the plaintiffs characterized as an audacious ploy to bribe the people of Wisconsin to cast their votes.
The cornerstone of the complaint lay in the actions executed by Musk leading up to the state’s 2024 Supreme Court elections. The complainers argued that Musk had waved million-dollar checks in front of voters and his PAC had promised cash rewards to those who signed petitions and disclosed personal details. Therefore, it was allowed to continue undisturbed on Election Day.
The central purpose of the latest complaint lodged in Wisconsin was to thwart Musk and his accomplices from reusing these dubious methods in forthcoming elections. There seems to be a hint that Musk himself may indeed reduce his political expenditure, although he has intentionally left room for future political ventures. In fact, he recently cut ties with the Trump administration.

This longtime Democratic stronghold witnessed an unusual situation where Democrats came out on top in several races but Kamala Harris secured almost no votes.
