Biden’s Political Ploys Backfire: Justice Prevails for Jackson

Marking another day of awkwardness for the White House, Joe Biden stumbled through a speech on August 1, 2022. It was a stark reminder of the time when his administration’s politically framed investigative moves caused an undeserved rank reduction for Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician. Erecting a wall of bias, the Biden outfit targeted Jackson in an attempt to mar his retirement by downgrading his status from admiral to captain.

However, in a turn of events that symbolizes the resilience of justice, Jackson has retraced his steps back to his rightly deserved rank. This backward march exposes the fault lines in Biden’s regime, highlighting the glaring failures and misplaced tactics. It decimates the Biden administration’s aim of whittling down Jackson’s rank during his retirement years.

Notably, the military has decided to award military honors to Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed protester during the unfortunate events at the U.S. Capital on January 6, 2021. She was tragically shot at close quarters and lost her life to a security officer on duty – arguably a needless and heavy-handed response to the situation.

Jackson’s career has been a sore spot for several Senate Democrats and certain Republicans during Trump’s tenure. The likes of Georgia Republican Johnny Isakson gave a free hand to Montana Democrat Jon Tester to turn Jackson’s nomination hearing for Secretary of Veterans Affairs into an unmitigated character assassination mission.

Despite being nominated twice for the rank of rear (two-star) admiral, Mitch McConnell repudiated any chance of a vote on either occasion. The intrusion of Democrats in this tussle soon intensified when Jackson decided to retire in 2019 around the time Biden took office.

Out of thin air came anonymous accusations of Jackson’s misconduct as a White House physician. True to form, when the Department of Defense investigation could uncover no misdeeds, the Biden administration twisted arms to have the inspector general reissue the report with an unfavorable conclusion.

Renouncing these tactics, Jackson has made it clear that the entire inquisition would not have taken place had he chosen to retire without entering politics. The unwarranted investigation, according to him, was nothing more than a poorly veiled attempt by the Biden administration to silence perceived threats and political opponents.

However, despite this thinly disguised political sabotage by the Biden administration, Jackson stood firm and his military rank has now been fully reinstated. This considerable resilience speaks volumes about his character, and stands in stark contrast to the divisive actions of the Biden administration.

In another act of defiance against the Biden administration’s mishandling of events, the U.S. Air Force declared its intention to provide Babbitt with military funeral honors. This was a direct antithesis to the previous refusal by the Biden outfit to grant the same to her family.

Volunteering as the guardian of truth, government watchdog Judicial Watch unearthed a missive from Under Secretary of the Air Force Matthew Lohmeier. The letter proffered permission for the special funeral procedures to take place, showing the first signs of justice being served after the tragic incident.

Lohmeier’s letter reviewed the circumstances around Babbitt’s death and succinctly declared Biden’s earlier determination as ‘incorrect’. This clear overturn of the Biden administration’s flawed judgment pushed forward the wheels of justice for Babbitt and held the authorities accountable.

The veteran protester, Babbitt, lost her life during the turbulent Capitol protest on January 6, 2021. She met her untimely end while trying to ascend through a barricaded entrance leading to the speaker’s lobby near the House chamber – an act that resulted in an excessively brutal response from the security personnel.

In yet another failing of the Biden administration, the Government has now conceded to settle a lawsuit against Babbitt’s unfortunate death with a payout of about $5 million to her family. This unwitting concession adds to the growing list of missteps and blunders starkly evident in Biden’s rule.

The episodes of Jackson and Babbitt’s individual battles point to systemic beetling flaws in the Biden administration’s approach towards individuals who hold differing views. These unhealthy patterns of politically motivated intervention are unbecoming of a competent and self-confident administration.

In essence, these results further emphasize the Biden and Harris administration’s penchant for creating unnecessary pressures and biased handling of scenarios. What remains to be seen is whether these two jaw-dropping cases might trigger a wave of accountability and honest introspection within the ranks of the current administration.

Regardless, the restoration of Jackson’s rank and the posthumous honors accorded to Babbitt serve to remind us all, that no amount of political histrionics can triumph over the resolute spirit of justice and due process. Biden and Harris would do well to remember this, as they continue to be dogged by controversy.
