Bondi Boots DOJ Staffer Who Flipped Off National Guard: ‘You Will NO LONGER Work Here’

Attorney General Pam Bondi is cleaning house.

On Friday, Bondi announced she had fired a Department of Justice staffer who was caught flipping off members of the National Guard stationed in Washington, D.C., telling them to “f*** off.” The woman, identified as Elizabeth Baxter, was captured on DOJ security footage making the obscene gesture and boasting about it to security guards in the building afterward.

“Today, I took action to terminate a DOJ employee for inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members in DC,” Bondi posted on X. “@TheJusticeDept remains committed to defending President Trump’s agenda and fighting to make America safe again. If you oppose our mission and disrespect law enforcement — you will NO LONGER work at DOJ.”

Caught Red-Handed — And Bragging About It

According to reporting from the New York Post, Baxter first bragged about the confrontation on August 18, when she told a DOJ security guard that she had flipped off a National Guardsman at the Metro Center Metro stop. She reportedly repeated her disdain for the Guard during another conversation with the same guard a week later.

Baxter worked in the DOJ’s “4CON” building — the same facility where another fired DOJ employee, Sean Charles Dunn, previously worked. Dunn was terminated after hurling a Subway sandwich at a Customs and Border Protection officer during an unhinged tirade.

Second DOJ Employee Booted This Month for Anti-Government Behavior

In Dunn’s case, the 37-year-old allegedly shouted at federal agents, called them “fascists,” and yelled “f*** you” before throwing his sandwich at a CBP officer and attempting to flee. The incident was captured on video by a bystander. Dunn was initially charged with felony assault, but a grand jury declined to indict him on that charge. He’s now facing a federal misdemeanor.

Bondi fired Dunn earlier this month and said his behavior was emblematic of the ideological rot she is working to purge from the department.

“This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ,” she said in an earlier statement. “You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.”

Cracking Down on the ‘Deep State’

Bondi has made it clear that federal employees who mock, defy, or insult law enforcement and the military will not be tolerated under her leadership at the DOJ. Her swift removal of both Baxter and Dunn signals a broader effort to rid the Justice Department of holdovers hostile to the current administration and its America First agenda.

The firings come amid a larger reshaping of the DOJ under Bondi’s direction — one that prioritizes respect for law enforcement, national security, and public order.
