Double Shooting in Bronx: One Dead and One Injured

On Saturday evening, a double shooting incident occurred in the Bronx, which has resulted in a man losing his life and a woman sustaining injuries, as per the updated news from the New York Police Department (NYPD).

On a call received by the NYPD at around 8:33 pm, indicating in-progress criminal activity in the vicinity of 224 Willis Avenue, located in Precinct 40, police officers were deployed to the site.

On reaching the premises, the officers discovered a distressing scene: a 30-year-old man suffering from a chest gunshot wound and a 42-year-old woman who had incurred a gunshot injury to her leg.

Both victims were urgently conveyed to the NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln by the emergency medical personnel who attended the site promptly after the police.

Following the imposed medical procedures, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital, whereas the female victim was determined to be in a stable condition.
