Elon Gets Back On Campaign Trail, Offers $1 Million Checks To Wisconsin Residents

Elon Musk has re-entered the political spotlight with a bold new move in Wisconsin, where he is offering $1 million each to two residents who sign a petition opposing left-wing judicial activism ahead of the state’s pivotal Supreme Court election on April 1.

The effort is aimed at rallying support for conservative candidate Brad Schimel, who is running against liberal Judge Susan Crawford in a race that could determine the ideological direction of Wisconsin’s highest court for years to come.

Musk’s Offer: $1 Million for Standing Up

Musk took to social media to announce the giveaway and clarified that only those who sign a petition opposing activist judges would be eligible to attend his Sunday event in Wisconsin—and to receive the massive $1 million checks.

“Entrance is limited to those who have signed the petition in opposition to activist judges,” Musk stated.
“I will also hand over checks for a million dollars to two people to be spokesmen for the petition.”

This move mirrors Musk’s 2024 efforts, when he offered seven-figure awards to voters in key battleground states who supported constitutional rights and rejected judicial overreach.

America PAC in Action

Musk’s America PAC is heavily involved in the Schimel campaign, pouring millions into TV ads and digital outreach across the state. In addition to the headline-grabbing $1 million checks, the PAC is offering $100 payments to every registered Wisconsin voter who signs the anti-activist judge petition.

One of the $1 million recipients has already been announced: Scott Ainsworth, a mechanical engineer from Green Bay, who was randomly selected after signing and sharing the petition.

“Everyone should do what I did,” Ainsworth said.
“Sign the petition, refer your friends, and vote early for Brad Schimel. If the MAGA movement shows up, we win.”

The Stakes in Wisconsin

The April 1 Supreme Court election has become the most expensive judicial race in U.S. history. At stake is control of the court on issues ranging from redistricting and voter ID laws to union reforms and abortion policy.

Musk’s support for Schimel comes as leftist groups led by George Soros, J.B. Pritzker, and Reid Hoffman have poured millions into Crawford’s campaign. The result has been a massive clash between America First conservatives and liberal billionaires seeking to remake the judicial system.

Pushback from the Left

Predictably, Democrats and media critics are attacking Musk’s approach. A spokesperson for Susan Crawford’s campaign called the payments “corrupt” and “disgraceful.” But a similar program in 2024 survived a legal challenge, with a judge ruling that such incentives did not violate election law.

Musk has brushed off the criticism, arguing that activist judges are the real threat to democracy, not citizens engaging in political speech.

A Defining Moment for the Midwest

This election is shaping up to be a defining moment not just for Wisconsin, but for the conservative movement nationwide. If Schimel wins, it could signal a strong rejection of far-left influence in the courts—and serve as a reminder that grassroots support, backed by bold leadership, still has the power to change the game.
