Elon Musk Says He Will Cancel Netflix Subscription Over Trans Propaganda Aimed At Children
Elon Musk confirmed he is canceling his Netflix subscription after clips of animated shows pushing pro-transgender themes at children began circulating widely on X.
“Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids,” Musk wrote on Wednesday, alongside an image of a Trojan horse labeled the “transgender woke agenda.” The billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO also replied “Same” to a user who said they had canceled their subscription over Netflix employing individuals who celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk while creating content that targets children with gender ideology.

The uproar centers on shows aimed at kids as young as seven. One clip came from Dead End: Paranormal Park, a short-lived Netflix original that ran for two seasons in 2022 and featured a lead character identifying as transgender. Another viral clip was from Ridley Jones, a preschool series that includes Fred, a “non-binary” cow character, wrestling with using new pronouns around family.

Chaya Raichik, who runs Libs of TikTok, has amplified many of the clips and highlighted angry subscribers posting screenshots showing they had canceled Netflix. Raichik also resurfaced vulgar comments from Hamish Steele, the trans-identifying creator of Dead End: Paranormal Park, who allegedly mocked condolences after Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Screenshots show Steele replying to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who offered sympathy following Kirk’s murder: “Why the f*** are you even commenting on this dhead? … You’re such a fing evil sh**.” The post was later deleted.
Steele responded to the backlash on Bluesky, insisting, “It’s all lies and slander! Netflix is NOT promoting [the show] at the moment!” Hours later, Steele said he was receiving “nasty” and “scary” emails and tried to downplay his remarks. He also complained that his Instagram feed had been flooded with accusations that he celebrated Kirk’s death, which he denied.
