Homan Says ICE Will Keep Deporting Illegals Amid Ambush Attacks: ‘We’re Not Going To Stop’

Border Czar Tom Homan made it clear Monday night that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will not be intimidated, even after a violent, coordinated ambush on federal officers at a Texas detention facility.

Speaking with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, Homan addressed the stunning attack in Alvarado, Texas, where ten suspects now face attempted murder charges for allegedly trying to kill ICE corrections officers during a July 4 assault.

“This was a well-planned, organized ambush,” Homan said. “And the blame lies squarely with radical rhetoric from members of Congress who’ve demonized our agents for years.”

Homan pointed to far-left lawmakers like Rep. Pramila Jayapal, who infamously compared ICE to terrorist groups, and others in the Democratic Party who have likened agents to Nazis.

“I said over two months ago, if this kind of rhetoric continues, it’s going to end in bloodshed,” Homan warned. “We’ve seen this recipe before — demonize law enforcement long enough, and eventually violent extremists act on it.”

Despite the attacks, Homan stressed that ICE agents will continue to do their jobs: enforcing immigration laws and deporting individuals who are in the country illegally.

“These fringe groups feel emboldened. They see members of Congress attacking ICE and think, ‘Why can’t we?’” he said. “But they need to understand one thing: we’re not going to stop. We will not be intimidated. We will not back down.”

The Alvarado ambush, which left one local police officer wounded, is the latest escalation in what ICE officials say is a growing pattern of targeted attacks driven by anti-law enforcement extremism. DOJ officials confirmed that all suspects face attempted murder and firearms charges, with more arrests possible.

Despite left-wing hostility and mounting danger, Homan’s message was simple: ICE isn’t going anywhere — and the law will be enforced.
