On a Friday in late May, a past associate of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, known as Mia for her protection, offered continued testimony in Combs’s federal court case. Mia had previously asserted that the prominent music mogul had sexually violated her on several instances. In addition, she had also implicated Combs in the physical abuse of Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, incidents she claimed to have observed directly.

Mia also cited a specific incident from 2015, where she recalled that Combs resorted to intimidation and threatened her livelihood as well as her personal safety. According to her statements, this was a repercussion of Ventura refraining from responding to Combs’ attempts at getting in touch. Mia believed this situation was prompted when Ventura discovered Combs’ indiscretions with another woman while still in a relationship with him.
In order to provide further evidential support to her claims, Mia shared a text message exchange with Combs’ Chief of Staff that was also presented to the court. In this message, she noted that her employer was slurring over the phone and making nonsensical statements. She went on to express the traumatic impact of the scenarios involving Combs on her mental health.
