Political Analyst Says If Kamala Slams Biden In Her Book, His Team Will Level Her

Political analyst Mark Halperin dropped a warning shot Wednesday, saying Kamala Harris may face brutal retaliation from Joe Biden’s inner circle if her upcoming book criticizes the former president’s mental decline or leadership.

Halperin, speaking on “The Morning Meeting” with 2Way, said that Biden’s team has stockpiled damaging accounts of Harris’s time as vice president — stories they’ve so far kept under wraps, but may unleash if she turns on her former boss in her memoir 107 Days, which focuses on her failed 2024 presidential run.

“I’m gonna break a little news here,” Halperin said. “If the Biden people decide Kamala Harris is coming after Joe Biden, wait until you hear the Palin-esque stories about how much they tried to help her be prepared… and how much they decided, ‘Not happening. She’s not up to this.’”

While the relationship between the Bidens and Harris reportedly remains civil for now, Halperin said that could change rapidly if Harris goes after Biden’s handling of the presidency, especially amid longstanding questions about his cognitive abilities.

“If Joe Biden feels threatened, if his people feel threatened by her, this is going to escalate in a big way,” Halperin said. “They were extraordinary in trying to help her… They gave her every opportunity. They found in some instances that she had some issues.”

According to Halperin, Biden’s team believed in elevating Harris on the world stage and giving her ample chances to prove herself — including meetings with global leaders and domestic policy responsibilities — but ultimately judged her performance as not ready for prime time.

“They did their best to make her ready to be president… But she was not quite ready for prime time,” Halperin concluded.

The looming clash highlights the simmering tensions between Harris and the Biden establishment — tensions that could explode if 107 Days includes damning revelations about Biden’s competence during his final year in office.

With Biden still fending off legacy damage from his catastrophic 2024 collapse, and Harris attempting a political resurrection through her book, a political civil war inside the Democratic Party could be imminent — with Team Biden already preparing to go scorched earth if Harris crosses the line.
