POLLS: Republicans LEAD Democrats 1 week before Midterm Elections

Polls show that 71% say the economy is on the wrong track.

Republicans hold a small lead over Democrats just 1 week before midterms, 46% registered voters back the GOP when asked what party they would support in their district.

44% put their support into Democrats, that puts the GOP lead within the margin of error; plus or minus 2.5%.

Only 19% of those polled believe the country is headed in the right direction compared to 71% saying the economy is on the wrong track. One can also assume that a portion of those in the 19% could have polled that way because the economy , in general, is recovering from Lockdowns.

54% say that Biden’s policies are having a negative effect on the economy compared to 27% who believe the policies are good for the economy.

This was done by a Wall Street Journal Poll conducted via phone and text from Oct 22 – 26th.
