In an endeavor to fortify local security measures and reinforce community-based defense systems, the Tiger Division of the Army is initiating the training of 100 Village Defence Guards (VDGs) in the area. This capacity building initiative is being implemented at the police firing site at Sunjuwan. The primary objectives of this training are to boost the operational proficiency of VDG members and enhance their collaboration with security forces.
The training curriculum for the VDG personnel encompasses various essential skills including basic firearms operations, tactical drills, and adherence to security protocols. The oversight of this comprehensive training program is under the experienced Army Instructors’ management. The design of this curriculum is meant not only to augment the ability of these local volunteers but also to develop them into a robust support system for the regular security forces stationed in sensitive locations.
The ultimate goal of this training initiative is to enable these local volunteers to respond promptly and effectively during an emergency. It rests on the principle of empowering local communities and instilling in them a sense of self-reliance. Through such initiatives, the focus is on involving the local population and nurturing an ambiance of security, thus reaffirming this commitment.

He further shed light on Pakistan’s frequent financial dependence on the International Monetary Fund (IMF), amplifying the need for a collective global effort towards combating terrorism.
