Trump Asks DOJ to Probe Jeffrey Epstein Ties to Bill Clinton, Other Dems, Big Banks: ‘Stay Tuned!’

President Donald Trump said Friday that he has asked Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s ties to prominent Democrats and major financial institutions, pushing back after House Democrats resurfaced old Epstein emails this week.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump accused Democrats of weaponizing “the Epstein Hoax” to distract from what he called their “disastrous shutdown,” and said the real scrutiny should fall on Epstein’s relationships with key Democratic figures and Wall Street power players.

“Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures, I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him,” Trump wrote.

Calling the renewed Democrat focus on Epstein “another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam,” Trump said the evidence overwhelmingly points to the left.

“Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his ‘Island.’ Stay tuned!!!” he added.

The statement comes after House Democrats released a small batch of Epstein-related emails this week that mentioned Trump, prompting the White House and Republican leaders to accuse Democrats of attempting to change the subject from their failed shutdown strategy.

Trump has long insisted he cut ties with Epstein nearly two decades before Epstein’s 2019 arrest, and that he barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago. Meanwhile, Clinton’s ties to Epstein — including numerous flights on Epstein’s private jet — have been documented for years, though Clinton denies wrongdoing.

With Trump’s new directive, the DOJ is likely to face pressure to reopen or expand investigations into Epstein’s network and its political, financial, and institutional connections.
