Trump Celebrates Khamenei’s Death: ‘One Of The Most Evil People In History’

President Donald Trump declared Saturday that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed during the joint U.S.–Israeli military operation carried out overnight against Iran.

“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead. This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The president suggested that American intelligence capabilities played a decisive role in locating and targeting Iran’s top leader during the operation.

“He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do,” Trump said. “This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country.”

Trump simultaneously urged elements of Iran’s security apparatus to stand down.

“We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us,” he wrote. “As I said last night, ‘Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!’”

He added that he hopes members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps would “peacefully merge with the Iranian Patriots” to restore what he described as the country’s lost greatness.

The president also made clear that military operations are ongoing.

“The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!” Trump wrote.

Earlier this month, Trump said that regime change in Iran “would be the best thing that could happen,” arguing that decades of hostility from Tehran had cost American and allied lives.

The situation in the region remains volatile as Iran has launched retaliatory strikes and U.S. and Israeli forces maintain a heightened military posture.
