Trump Fires Back At Stockpile Doubts, Says U.S. Military Is ‘Stocked And Ready To WIN’

President Donald Trump pushed back Monday on reports suggesting concerns inside the Pentagon about America’s munitions stockpiles, declaring that the United States is fully equipped to sustain ongoing military operations.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said U.S. weapons reserves have “never been higher or better,” while acknowledging there is still room for improvement at the highest levels of advanced systems.

“We have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons. Wars can be fought ‘forever,’ and very successfully, using just these supplies (which are better than other countries finest arms!),” Trump wrote. “At the highest end, we have a good supply, but are not where we want to be. Much additional high grade weaponry is stored for us in outlying countries.”

Trump’s remarks follow reporting that some defense officials have privately expressed concern about long-term interceptor supplies if the conflict with Iran extends for several weeks. According to The Wall Street Journal, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine flagged questions about available interceptor systems prior to the initial strikes, particularly regarding the ability to defend against sustained Iranian drone and missile barrages.

The president dismissed the broader narrative and instead criticized former President Joe Biden for sending large quantities of military aid to Ukraine during its war with Russia.

“Sleepy Joe Biden spent all of his time, and our Country’s money, GIVING everything to P.T. Barnum (Zelenskyy!) of Ukraine – Hundreds of Billions of Dollars worth – And, while he gave so much of the super high end away (FREE!), he didn’t bother to replace it,” Trump wrote. “Fortunately, I rebuilt the military in my first term, and continue to do so. The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!”

The White House also sent a memo to Congress asserting that the military has “more than enough ammunition – more than any country on the planet – to finish this operation without fail.” The memo stated that the duration of the operation targeting Iran will ultimately be determined by the president as conditions evolve.

Trump has previously estimated the campaign could take four to five weeks but said Monday that operations are already ahead of schedule.

“We’re already substantially ahead of our time projections,” Trump said. “Whatever the time is, it’s OK, whatever it takes, we will always — and we have right from the beginning — we projected four to five weeks, but we have capability to go far longer than that.”

As the operation continues, the administration maintains that U.S. forces remain fully supplied and positioned to sustain the campaign for as long as necessary.
