Trump Reveals What He’s ‘Looking For’ With Israel-Iran Conflict: ‘Not A Ceasefire’

President Donald Trump made clear he’s not interested in temporary truces or symbolic de-escalations in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump rejected the idea of a traditional ceasefire, declaring instead, “What I want is an end. A real end. Not just a ceasefire—an end.”

The remarks came just hours after the G7 summit concluded, where Trump met with allied leaders and reportedly fielded calls for a diplomatic resolution to the escalating war in the Middle East. But the president stood firm, making it clear that half-measures won’t suffice.

“Iran could have taken a deal 60 days ago,” Trump added. “They didn’t. Now they’re paying the price. If they want to talk, they can come to the table and give it up entirely.”

According to senior administration officials, the White House is closely coordinating with Israeli leadership as airstrikes continue to dismantle Iranian missile stockpiles, nuclear facilities, and IRGC infrastructure. Over 100 strategic targets have already been hit.

While some European leaders have quietly urged restraint, Trump sees this as a moment for decisive action. “We’re not going to beg for peace,” he said. “We’ll back our allies until the threat is eliminated, not paused.”

In recent days, Iranian forces have launched hundreds of drones and missiles into Israeli territory, with some breaching air defenses and causing civilian casualties. Trump emphasized that Israeli self-defense is non-negotiable—and that America’s role is to stand with strength, not softness.

As speculation grows over possible backchannel talks, Trump’s message is crystal clear: he’s not seeking a ceasefire. He’s demanding a finish.
