Trump Says Democrats Are ‘Self-Destructing’ By Propping Up ‘Low IQ People’ Like Jasmine Crockett

President Donald Trump unloaded on the Democratic Party during a Tuesday morning interview with CNBC, accusing party leaders of letting far-Left radicals like Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) hijack their agenda and drive the party off a political cliff.

“The Democrat Party is self-destructing,” Trump told host Joe Kernan in a phone interview. “When you have low-IQ people like Crockett — I wonder if she’s any relation to the Late, Great Davy Crockett, who was a great gentleman… But you have this woman, Crockett, she’s a very low-IQ person.”

Trump’s comments follow a Sunday rally in Phoenix where Crockett, a freshman Democrat and frequent MSNBC guest, called the president “a piece of s***” during a profanity-laced tirade. Crockett has become known for her social media meltdowns and cable news theatrics, earning applause from progressive activists and growing frustration from both Republicans and moderate Democrats.

“She’s one of the people now running their party? You’ve gotta be kidding,” Trump added. “The Democrats are lost. They have Trump Derangement Syndrome so bad they can’t walk, they can’t talk, they don’t know where they’re going. Schumer is finished — he’s got no fight left in him.”

Crockett’s outbursts against Trump have escalated in recent weeks. The Texas Democrat has claimed the Supreme Court and Congressional Republicans are letting Trump act “unconstitutionally,” and has demanded new “guardrails” to reign in what she called the “corrupt” court. On social media, Crockett has repeatedly insulted the president and his supporters, referring to Trump as a “buffoon” and “mofo,” and claiming his voter base represents a national “mental health crisis.”

“We’ve got a mental health crisis in this country because everyone — no matter how you affiliate yourself — should be against Trump. Period,” Crockett declared in a June podcast appearance. “This is not partisan for me. Like, I would give anything to have — sad to say — George Bush. Like, give me any regular Republican nowadays, and I would be happy.”

While Crockett’s comments have energized the progressive base, the White House has kept its distance. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed Crockett’s rhetoric as a political liability for the Left. “I hope that she continues to be a rising star — for the Republican Party at least,” Leavitt said sarcastically in a recent press briefing.

Crockett’s rise has also triggered infighting within the Democratic Party, as establishment figures grow concerned that elevating angry, divisive personalities like hers is pushing away independents and suburban voters. Trump, meanwhile, appears eager to spotlight the party’s far-Left flank and frame them as the new face of the Democrats.

“They’ve gone so far off the rails, even George W. Bush is starting to look sane to them,” a Trump campaign adviser said. “They can’t win with this kind of extremism, and the president knows it.”

As Democrats continue to embrace fringe voices, Trump is betting that the more voters hear from people like Jasmine Crockett, the more they’ll come running back to common sense — and to MAGA.
