Trump Warns Iran To ‘Get Serious’ As U.S. Prepares Potential Final Strike

President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran Thursday, telling its leaders to “get serious” about peace negotiations as the U.S. military prepares what officials describe as a potential “final blow” to the regime.

In a Truth Social post, Trump said Iranian negotiators were acting inconsistently, claiming they were privately pushing for a deal while publicly downplaying U.S. proposals.

“They better get serious soon, before it is too late,” Trump wrote, warning that once a certain point is reached, “there is no turning back.”

Behind the scenes, U.S. officials are reportedly preparing multiple military options to escalate pressure if talks collapse. Those options include targeting Iran’s oil infrastructure, blockading key export hubs like Kharg Island, seizing islands near the Strait of Hormuz, and intercepting oil shipments to choke off revenue.

Other potential actions include securing nuclear material at previously targeted facilities or launching additional airstrikes to ensure Iran cannot rebuild its capabilities.

Vice President JD Vance has been mentioned as a possible diplomatic envoy, though no trip has been finalized.

Indirect negotiations are ongoing through intermediaries, including Pakistan and Turkey. The U.S. has reportedly presented a 15-point proposal that would require Iran to dismantle its nuclear program, hand over enriched uranium, limit missile development, keep the Strait of Hormuz open, and cut off support for proxy groups.

Iranian officials have pushed back on those demands, signaling they are unwilling to accept key conditions and offering counterproposals that would preserve elements of their military and regional strategy.

At the same time, the U.S. is continuing to build military pressure. Additional forces, including troops from the 82nd Airborne Division, are being deployed to the region as preparations continue for possible escalation.

The war is now entering its fourth week, with global energy markets and regional stability tied to what happens next. Trump has suggested the situation is approaching a decisive moment, making clear that if diplomacy fails, military action will follow.
