Trump Warns Iran To Make Nuclear Deal Or Face Another U.S. Attack
President Donald Trump delivered a direct warning to Iran early Wednesday morning, urging the regime to agree to a nuclear deal or face the consequences of another U.S. military operation. The statement, posted to Truth Social, comes as tensions escalate and American forces shift toward the region.
Trump revealed that a massive U.S. naval fleet, led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, is heading toward Iran with orders to be ready for combat. He noted that the deployment exceeds the size and scope of the fleet used during the recent mission in Venezuela that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro.
“A massive Armada is heading to Iran,” Trump said. “It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose. Like with Venezuela, it is ready, willing, and able to rapidly fulfill its mission, with speed and violence, if necessary.”
He urged Iran to negotiate a deal that includes a complete rejection of nuclear weapons, saying the next strike would be far more destructive than last summer’s bombing campaign. The president referenced Operation Midnight Hammer, in which U.S. forces targeted Iran’s nuclear infrastructure in June.
“Time is running out,” Trump wrote. “As I told Iran once before, MAKE A DEAL. They didn’t, and there was Operation Midnight Hammer. The next attack will be far worse. Don’t make that happen again.”
U.S. Central Command confirmed this week that a multi-day military readiness drill is underway to demonstrate the ability to deploy and sustain American air power across the Middle East. The exercise comes as American forces in the region remain on high alert.
The renewed military pressure follows reports of mass unrest in Iran, with thousands reportedly killed during weeks of anti-government protests. Trump previously warned that the United States would respond if Iran continued its violent crackdowns.
“If Iran violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue,” he said earlier this month. “We are locked and loaded and ready to go.”
The administration’s posture has drawn sharp responses from Iran’s leadership, but Trump has made clear that the path to peace remains open—if Tehran is willing to return to the table and abandon its nuclear ambitions.
