President Donald Trump will sign the landmark “One Big, Beautiful Bill” into law during a Fourth of July ceremony at the White House, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Thursday.

“Today is a victorious day for the American people,” Leavitt said minutes after the House narrowly passed the sweeping legislation. “The One Big, Beautiful Bill passed the House of Representatives and will be at the president’s desk for signature at a big, beautiful signing ceremony tomorrow at 5:00 p.m., just as the president always said and hoped it would be.”

White House officials celebrated the bill’s passage as the most significant legislative achievement of Trump’s presidency, and one that Republicans say will fuel unprecedented economic growth.

What’s in the Bill

The legislation delivers a series of conservative policy victories:

  • The largest tax cut in American history

  • Permanent elimination of federal taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security

  • Expansion of the Child Tax Credit

  • New savings accounts for newborns

  • Massive border security funding

  • Defunding of Planned Parenthood for one year

  • Work requirements for Medicaid and food stamp recipients

  • Boosts to defense spending, including the Golden Dome missile system

“The pro-growth policies within this historic legislation are going to fuel an economic boom like we’ve never seen before,” Leavitt said. “President Trump looks forward to signing the One Big, Beautiful Bill into law to officially usher in the Golden Age of America.”

Celebration With America’s Warriors

The July 4th signing ceremony will include a flyover by B-2 Spirit bombers and appearances by the pilots who carried out the strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities during Operation Midnight Hammer earlier this month. Those same pilots, who flew from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, will stand beside the president as he signs the bill into law.

“Again and again,” the White House said in a statement, “President Trump and Republicans fought and won for the American people.”

The signing marks the culmination of months of intense negotiation and party-line warfare, capped off by a dramatic overnight vote in the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson secured just enough support to pass the bill and meet Trump’s July 4 deadline.

The Independence Day event promises to be more than a bill signing—it will be a celebration of what the White House is calling the official beginning of “America’s Golden Age.”
