Vandal Dressed As Suspected Assassin Tramples Charlie Kirk Memorial
A 19-year-old vandal was arrested Sunday morning after storming through a memorial for slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk outside the organization’s Phoenix headquarters.
Video shows the man, identified by police as Ryder Corral, marching through the makeshift memorial, kicking over flowers, flags, vases, and balloons before being tackled by bystanders who held him until police arrived.
Fox News reporter Matt Finn shared footage of the desecration, writing: “Man tramples on Charlie Kirk memorial at TP USA. He is taken to the ground by onlookers and then arrested. He traveled about 15 yards through the memorial, kicked over flowers, vases and flags and balloons, according to our photog.”

The Phoenix Police Department later confirmed Corral’s arrest, stating he will face multiple charges, including criminal damage and disorderly conduct. Authorities noted that no one, including Corral or the citizens who detained him, sustained injuries.
What drew further outrage was Corral’s clothing: he appeared to be wearing a t-shirt similar to the one seen in surveillance photos of Tyler Robinson, the suspected assassin of Charlie Kirk. Robinson, 22, was arrested last week for the sniper-style murder of the conservative activist at Utah Valley University.
Sharing side-by-side images, Finn noted the disturbing resemblance: “Looks like the man who was just arrested after trampling Charlie Kirk’s memorial at Turning Point in Phoenix (R) might have been wearing the same type of patriotic shirt that Kirk’s alleged assassin wore on the day of the shooting. (L).”
The act of vandalism comes as Americans across the country continue to mourn the 31-year-old conservative leader, whose assassination has shaken the nation but also fueled a powerful wave of tributes, vigils, and calls for justice.
