Instead, Trump shared two Instagram story updates featuring her daughter, Kai Trump, attending the Miami Open. One image showed Kai posing alongside a young golf pro and a tennis coach, while another clip captured her answering fan questions in an informal Q&A.
The timing of the posts stood out, arriving just hours after Woods’ arrest, yet there was no acknowledgment of the crash, his legal situation, or any public statement addressing the situation.
Authorities say Woods crashed his Range Rover near his home on Jupiter Island after attempting to pass a truck towing equipment. The vehicle flipped during the incident. Officers on the scene reported that Woods appeared lethargic and showed signs of impairment.
He was charged with DUI, property damage, and refusing to submit to a lawful test. Woods spent roughly eight hours in custody following the crash.
According to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, deputies conducted multiple roadside evaluations and noted indicators of impairment. A breath test later showed no alcohol in his system, shifting attention to the possibility of other substances.
