Woman Caught on Camera Lunging at MAGA Activist in Viral Confrontation

A heated clash at Washington, D.C.’s Union Station went viral after conservative activist Cam Higby pepper-sprayed a woman who was caught on video allegedly lunging at him and striking him with his MAGA hat. Higby, who is touring the country on his “Fearless Tour” inspired by slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, says the encounter underscores his mission to expose political hostility and promote open debate.

Higby had just wrapped a debate event at the University of Maryland when a combative woman approached him and his group at Union Station. Video shows her pushing Higby back in his chair, grabbing his hat, and hitting him before tumbling into nearby bushes—at which point Higby deployed pepper spray.

“I told her to stop touching me, and she lunged at me and attacked me,” Higby told Fox News Digital. He added that her hands remained in her pockets for much of the confrontation, leaving him unsure whether she was armed.

After being sprayed, the woman sought help from other protesters, who tried rinsing her eyes. But when U.S. Park Police arrived, Higby said she resisted arrest and even assaulted officers before being subdued and taken into custody. He and a colleague were listed as victims in police reports, and she is expected to face federal charges.

Higby, who was attacked in Seattle earlier this year at an anti-ICE rally, says the repeated assaults prove his point. “We want debate. We don’t invite violence. If you can’t stop yourself from touching or attacking someone, that’s on you,” he said.
