FBI Director Kash Patel addressed the growing controversy surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation on Saturday, rejecting widespread speculation that critical information is being withheld from the public.

“The conspiracy theories just aren’t true, never have been,” Patel posted on X. “It’s an honor to serve the President of the United States — and I’ll continue to do so for as long as he calls on me.”

The comment comes as backlash continues to mount over the Department of Justice’s recent announcement that it found no evidence of a “client list,” blackmail scheme, or foul play in Epstein’s death — a conclusion that many have criticized as incomplete or misleading. The DOJ’s statements have sparked renewed frustration with Attorney General Pam Bondi, who previously implied she possessed explosive information tied to the case.

Patel, who has repeatedly stated he believes Epstein died by suicide while in federal custody, attempted to shut down mounting rumors that he and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino are threatening to step down over Bondi’s leadership. Sources close to Bongino, however, have suggested that the rift remains serious, with Bongino reportedly walking out of a heated closed-door meeting on the matter earlier this week.

Patel also reposted a statement from his girlfriend, singer and conservative activist Alexis Wilkins, who said she’s become the target of smear campaigns tied to the fallout.

“I’ve spent my career saying no to anything that would compromise my character and working to restore America,” Wilkins wrote. “It’s disappointing to see people with no real contribution to political discourse spin ridiculous conspiracy theories out of thin air.”

“These accusations are obviously insanely ridiculous and coming from accounts that are farming because their engagement dried up after Trump’s win,” she added. “I would encourage anyone interested to actually research the facts of my life — they’re readily available. My happy relationship, my work, my Christian Faith, and my integrity speak for themselves.”

As the Epstein firestorm continues, Bondi has yet to offer any new revelations — despite once claiming to have files and names on her desk. With Bongino reportedly still fuming behind the scenes, the controversy has become a flashpoint within Trump’s law enforcement leadership.

While Patel made clear his commitment to the president and the mission, the storm surrounding Bondi and the DOJ’s handling of the Epstein case shows no signs of subsiding.
