FBI Releases Photos of Suspect in Charlie Kirk Assassination Investigation

The FBI’s Salt Lake City office has released surveillance images of a person of interest linked to the shocking assassination of conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was gunned down Wednesday during an outdoor event on the campus of Utah Valley University. The killing sent shockwaves through the conservative movement and reignited national outrage over escalating political violence targeting the right.

On Thursday, FBI agents posted two images showing an unidentified male dressed in dark clothing, wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. Authorities urged the public to review the images and report any information related to the individual’s identity or whereabouts.

“We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” the FBI said in a statement posted to X.

The bureau has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of whoever is responsible for Kirk’s murder.

Despite periodic updates from officials, no arrests have yet been made. The FBI emphasized that it is working in close coordination with state and local law enforcement partners and will continue to release verified updates as the investigation progresses.

The bureau is directing all tips to its 24-hour hotline at 1-800-CALL-FBI, and a digital portal has been launched for anyone who may have relevant media or footage from the scene.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination has been described by President Trump as “a national tragedy” and “an act of political terrorism.” The former Turning Point USA founder had long been a vocal critic of leftist extremism and a tireless advocate for conservative youth activism.
