Suspected Charlie Kirk Assassin Lived With Trans-Identifying Partner: Report
New details are emerging about Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative leader Charlie Kirk, including reports that he lived with a transgender-identifying partner.
Fox News reporter Brooke Singman reported on X that Robinson “lived with his transgender partner,” citing law enforcement sources. She added that the individual — “a male transitioning to a female” — is fully cooperating with the FBI’s investigation.

The revelation has been confirmed by others, including Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh. “I’ve independently confirmed that Charlie Kirk’s assassin did in fact have a transgender boyfriend. This is LGBT extremism. A lot more will be revealed soon. The ‘far right’ narrative is absolute bulls***. Not even close to true. Don’t fall for it,” Walsh posted.

The news adds to a growing body of evidence showing Robinson’s radical left-wing leanings. Utah Governor Spencer Cox said Saturday that Robinson was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” noting that investigators now see his politics as central to the attack.
Investigators also revealed that Robinson’s bullet casings carried engravings with militant and mocking messages, including:
-
“Hey Fascist! Catch!”
-
Lyrics from “Bella Ciao,” an anthem of the Italian anti-fascist resistance later adopted by leftist movements.
Family members told authorities Robinson had become increasingly political in recent years and specifically despised Charlie Kirk. At a recent family dinner, Robinson reportedly voiced his dislike of Kirk and noted that the conservative activist would soon be visiting Utah for a campus event.
Robinson carried out the assassination Wednesday at Utah Valley University, firing a single fatal shot to Kirk’s neck from a rooftop as the 31-year-old father of two answered student questions.
Governor Cox called the killing not just an attack on an individual, but on America itself. “This is certainly about the tragic death, assassination, political assassination, of Charlie Kirk,” Cox said. “But it is also much bigger than an attack on an individual. It is an attack on all of us. It is an attack on the American experiment. It is an attack on our ideals. This cuts to the very foundation of who we are, of who we have been, and who we could be in better times.”
Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, had built a movement inspiring young conservatives to speak boldly in the face of hostility. His murder has shaken the conservative movement and galvanized calls for justice.
