Although Elon Musk, the wealthiest person on Earth, has had his share of controversies within the political sphere, recent discoveries indicate that his involvement may have been fueled by more substances than initially thought. Reports have surfaced that during his foray into politics, Musk was allegedly under the influence of a variety of narcotics at a significantly elevated dosage. Musk reportedly admitted to consuming heavy amounts of ketamine, an intense anesthetic, which purportedly began interfering with his urinary functioning, a notable side effect of prolonged ingestion. Moreover, there were accounts of him partaking in the use of ecstasy and hallucinogenic fungi.
Insiders reveal that Musk would constantly carry a daily medication box filled approximately with 20 tablets, some of which bore the insignia of the stimulant Adderall. This information is derived from visual testimony and a photograph of the box in question. However, it remains uncertain whether Musk was still indulging in these substances during the time he took charge of DOGE and caused a stir in the federal government. Even so, his term was marked by volatile conduct, offensive remarks to Cabinet members, questionable gestures, and convoluted answers during a premeditated interview.
Despite these reports, neither Musk nor his legal representative has issued any statement regarding this matter. Previously, Musk has disclosed that he was prescribed ketamine to manage his depression and consumed it biweekly, on average. When asked about his drug usage, Musk has been quoted saying, ‘I have a strong dislike for illegal drugs.’
In the past, there has been media coverage suggesting that Musk has experimented with an array of substances such as LSD, ecstasy, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms, leading to the expression of concern from some of his company’s executives. Any attempt to receive a response from Musk or his legal counsel regarding these allegations has been unsuccessful. His attorney did make a statement claiming Musk regularly undergoes drug screenings at SpaceX and has never failed to pass the test.
Insiders have claimed that SpaceX, which is a government contractor and thereby required to maintain a drug-free environment, randomly conducts drug tests on its employees. Nevertheless, there were suggestions that Musk might have received pre-notification about these tests, raising a few eyebrows. No immediate response was offered by Musk’s legal representative when asked for a comment.
People who were acquainted with Musk’s habit confirmed that he was frequently using ketamine — often on a daily basis — and pairing it with other substances. According to them, the distinction between medicinal and recreational use became increasingly unclear, causing worry among those close to him. Reports additionally state that during private gatherings, spread across the U.S. and at least one other nation, Musk was known to consume ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
During the phase when Musk purportedly confessed that his ketamine addiction had begun causing urinary difficulties, he also publicly endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency. Following this endorsement, a few months later, he joined the then-presidential candidate for the first time at a campaign event, where his animated behavior drew attention.
Musk concluded his stint with the federal government during the past week. He participated in a series of interviews where he voiced his displeasure, claiming that DOGE had unfairly been made the scapegoat. He went on to criticize the act of setting Teslas on fire in a protest against his governmental role, describing it as ‘extremely disagreeable.’
