Ousted MSNBC Host Says Trump Is ‘The Physical Embodiment Of All Of America’s Sins’

Joy Reid, the recently ousted MSNBC host, has resurfaced online with her new Substack project “Welcome to Joy’s House!” and wasted no time reigniting her feud with President Donald Trump. In a discussion with far-left writer Wajahat Ali, Reid claimed Trump was “the physical embodiment of all of America’s sins,” using the opportunity to launch a string of bitter personal and political attacks against him.

Reid, who was fired from MSNBC in February after years of controversial on-air rants, accused Trump of everything from dishonesty to immorality. “People try to say God put him in the White House. I don’t believe God is that cruel. But in a way, I’m thinking the way you could justify saying that: Donald Trump is the physical embodiment of all of America’s sins,” Reid said, earning immediate agreement from Ali.

She went further, attacking Trump’s appearance and family life, sneering at his hair, calling him “sloppy” and “unkempt,” and making crude claims about his marriage to Melania Trump. She also attempted to paint Trump’s business career as fraudulent, twisting it into a racial narrative by alleging he only succeeded because “white America” propped him up.

Reid’s tirade went on to accuse Trump of moral bankruptcy, mocking his faith and claiming Christians only support him out of hypocrisy. She concluded by declaring he represents “the greed, the shamelessness, the lasciviousness of capitalism.”

The comments come just months after MSNBC severed ties with Reid, a host who long thrived on race-based commentary and relentless attacks on conservatives. Her exit was widely seen as overdue, given her history of toxic rhetoric and dismal ratings. Now, through her Substack and online videos, Reid appears to be doubling down on the same style of vitriol that alienated viewers and ultimately cost her a primetime slot.

For many, Reid’s rant is another example of how unhinged Trump’s critics have become in their obsession with tearing him down. Rather than engaging in policy debates, Reid’s commentary fixated on smears and personal insults, reaffirming why she no longer has a platform on mainstream television. Meanwhile, Trump continues to focus on diplomacy, trade, and rebuilding America’s strength — in stark contrast to the bitterness coming from his detractors.
