Reporter Presses Trump On Crazy Rumor: ‘How Did You Find Out Over The Weekend That You Were Dead?’
President Donald Trump had a sharp and sarcastic response Tuesday after a bizarre internet rumor over the weekend falsely claimed he had died.
During an Oval Office event, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy stunned the room by bluntly asking the president, “How did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?” Trump raised an eyebrow but didn’t flinch, while Vice President JD Vance — standing directly behind him — chuckled at the absurdity.
President Trump just SLAMMED his critics who wished him dead after not having a news conference for TWO DAYS!
“I didn’t do any for two days, and they said there must be something wrong with him.”
“Biden wouldn’t do ’em for MONTHS! You wouldn’t see him! And nobody ever said… pic.twitter.com/W5X7aRsuuY

Doocy followed up, saying, “People didn’t see you for a couple of days, 1.3 million user engagements as of Saturday morning about your demise.”
Trump paused and replied, “Really? I didn’t see that.” He went on to explain that he had held multiple press conferences last week, “all successful,” and simply hadn’t done one for two days — which apparently was enough to send conspiracy theorists into overdrive.
“They said, ‘There must be something wrong with him,’” Trump mocked. “But Biden didn’t do them for MONTHS! You wouldn’t see him! And nobody ever said there was anything wrong with him — and we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape.”
Laughter broke out across the room as Trump continued to joke about the double standards and the media’s obsession with his every move.
Vice President Vance could be seen shaking his head, still grinning as the president dismissed the “crazy” hoax and got back to business.
The president’s busy post-Labor Day schedule, including meetings on housing, immigration, and foreign policy, shows he’s very much alive — and fully engaged.
