The day subsequent to Elon Musk’s assertion pertaining to President Donald Trump’s inclusion in the Epstein records, an interesting individual joined the discussion – Jeffrey Epstein’s prior legal advisor. “My involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s legal affairs started nine days before his demise when I was recruited as his criminal defense attorney,” stated David Schoen in his communication on X Friday. “He had been consulting me for advice for several months in advance. With absolute certainty and authority, I can vouch that he had no damaging knowledge related to President Trump. I made sure to pop this question!”
Illustrating the back and forth nature of social media discourse, President Trump highlighted Schoen’s commentary by screenshotting it and sharing it on his Truth Social platform underscored the immediacy of the digital age. Schoen’s interjection into the conversation was prompted by allegations that Elon Musk had previously presented against the president during X Thursday. This was in the wake of their relationship dissolving over the contentious issue of ‘Trump’s big beautiful bill.’
“Time to let loose the biggest revelation: President Donald Trump features in Epstein’s classified records,” Musk composed in a nothing-held-back post. “This is the core explanation as to why the records have not yet seen the light of the day. Here’s wishing you a pleasant day, DJT.” As if to stress the gravity of the allegations and the potential ramifications for the president, Musk appended, “Take note of this message for future reference. The truth will inevitably surface.”
However, it bears stating that any insinuations of President Trump’s involvement in any prohibited activities in connection with Epstein currently lack any concrete evidence. The president was indeed mentioned in ‘The Epstein Files: Phase 1’ which was publicly released by the Department of Justice earlier this year. His name did crop up on the flight logs a total of seven times.
Yet it is critical to understand that such appearances on the flight logs, while eye-catching, do not instigate direct implications of any wrongdoing. Merely being a passenger on Epstein’s aircraft does not conclusively denote any criminal conduct. While the accusations and counter-statements add continuing complexity to the situation, no definite conclusions can be drawn.
