Season 3 of The War Within: New Rewards, Challenges, and Turbo-Boost Enhancements

Season 3 of The War Within promises to pack a punch with heightened rewards and enhancements set to bolster your Warband through Turbo-Boost. The introduction of version 11.2.5 sees the upgrade routes for Heroes and myths stretch by 2 stages (from 6 to 8), while constructed products grant an opportunity for extra prowess through the Augmentation Matrix.

As we enter the week commencing October 21, the limitation on Crests will be wiped out, and Valorstones convert to Warbound, persisting for the duration of the season. The double-up on Mythic+ drop rates for Warband up till the Equipped gear is another not-to-miss feature.

In addition, Ethereal Voidsplinters can now be acquired via Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega, Delves, and rated PvP. This will add fuel to the Catalyst, paving the way for more intense gameplay.

Furthermore, brace yourselves for not one, but two new quests. These quests present an opportunity to gather Puzzling Cartel Chips. They can be earned by defeating four raid bosses at Normal difficulty or above in Manaforge Omega, or by completing four Mythic0 dungeons.

The quest ‘Turbo Boost: Trade Must Flow’ offers a one-time only challenge, bestowing upon victors 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips. A weekly quest titled ‘Turbo Boost: Infinite Growth’ offers up a single Puzzling Cartel Chip. The total accrual limit is 9 Puzzling Cartel Chips per character.

Ready to trade? Look out for Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho as they descend upon Dornogal. They promise valuable weaponry, trinkets, and cantrip items from Season 3 dungeons and Manaforge Omega. However, there’s a catch—you need to earn your Puzzling Cartel Chips to barter.

It’s worth noting that your attempted purchase of Hero track dungeon trinkets or Hero track raid gear is subject to certain conditions: you must possess currency and you should have defeated the corresponding boss at least once in Normal difficulty or higher to make the purchase.

Myth tech gear acquisition comes with its own prerequisites. These items will ask for currency and demand your triumph over the timer in all Season 3 M+ dungeons at Mythic 12 or Higher, in line with the Resilient Keystone system protocol. Myth track raid gear commands that the affiliated boss has been conquered at least once in Mythic difficulty.

Speaking of rewards, Delves now offer substantial boosts for the adventurous. There’s noticeable acceleration when it comes to Delver’s Journey progress, along with upgraded rewards from the Delver’s Bounty. This progress increase mainly comes from Bountiful Coffers, Nemesis Strongboxes, and grants from run ends.

You’re also in for a treat with a surge in obtainable Valorstones and a spike in continuously earnable Crests across Delve tiers. Tier 9 and above are bestowed with the chance to drop Champion 1/8 Warbound equipment.

Also, look out for Untainted Mana-Crystals from Bountiful Coffers— obtainable via Restored Coffer Keys from Tier 9 or higher bountiful delves, post achieving rank 3 of the Delver’s Journey. You may exchange these mana-crystals with Zah’ran to get your hands on Hero track trinkets.

There’s also exciting news for those skilled in the art of profession. The Spark of Fortune-crafted recipes now come with a chance of an advanced craft or re-craft via an Augmentation Matrix. This could provide your item with up to 6 additional item levels.
