Trump’s message, loud and clear, was an eccentric Memorial Day greeting, directed not just to all, but also to those he referred to as ‘the scum.’ In his words, these are the ones who, propelled by ‘warped radical left minds,’ allowed the illegal entry of 21 million individuals into the country. He included criminals and people struggling with mental health issues among these illegal entrants.

Returning to tradition towards the end, Trump concluded his unusual Memorial Day message by wishing his audience again, and invoked God’s blessings on America. However, his failure to directly pay tributes to the fallen soldiers in his post wasn’t overlooked.
A number of social media users found it distasteful that the former President’s Memorial Day message was more focused on attacking his perceived political adversaries than honoring those who had paid the ultimate price for their country.
It’s worth noting that Trump did later rectify this omission. He dedicated a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s fallen soldiers during a subsequent address at the hallowed Arlington National Cemetery located in Virginia.
