Trump Rips ‘Total Loser’ Trevor Noah Over Grammys Epstein Joke, Threatens Lawsuit

President Donald Trump vowed legal action Monday after Grammy Awards host Trevor Noah cracked a joke linking him to Jeffrey Epstein during Sunday night’s broadcast. Trump, who watched from Air Force One, said the remark was defamatory and “completely false,” and threatened to sue both Noah and CBS, which aired the event.

Noah, while presenting Song of the Year, quipped that Trump “wants Greenland because Epstein’s island is gone, and he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.” Trump responded on Truth Social, calling the Grammys “virtually unwatchable” and slamming Noah as a “total loser” who’s “almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards.”

“I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close,” Trump said. “Until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, I’ve never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.” He accused Noah of spreading lies and said, “Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”

The president noted previous victories against media outlets, including a $15 million defamation settlement from ABC and George Stephanopoulos, and a $16 million payout from CBS over an edited interview. Trump also reminded followers that he’s suing the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion over a 2003 Epstein-related article he says is completely fabricated.

Speculation linking Trump to Epstein was reignited after the release of three million documents from the Justice Department on Friday. But the DOJ stated that the accusations against Trump lacked credibility, calling them “unfounded and false.” The agency emphasized that if any claims had merit, “they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”

Trump’s legal threats now add fuel to a growing backlash against entertainers and media figures who continue invoking Epstein in political attacks.
