Turning Point USA Sees 32,000 New Chapter Requests in Wake of Charlie Kirk Assassination

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has sparked a nationwide surge of support for the movement he built, with Turning Point USA reporting more than 32,000 new chapter requests in just 48 hours.

Andrew Kolvet, producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, shared the news in a post on X: “I wanted to share a praise report from TPUSA. The organization has received over 32,000 inquiries in the last 48-hours to start new campus chapters. To put that in perspective, TPUSA currently has 900 official college chapters and around 1,200 high school chapters, with a presence on 3,500 total. Charlie’s vision to have a Club America chapter (our high school brand) in every high school in America (around 23,000) will come true much, much faster than he could have ever possibly imagined. Truly incredible.”

The exponential growth reflects Kirk’s enduring influence on America’s youth. Having founded TPUSA at just 18 years old, Kirk inspired a generation of students to speak boldly for conservatism in classrooms and on campuses often hostile to their values.

Fox News anchor Kevin Corke said on Fox & Friends: Weekend that Kirk’s ultimate legacy would be the young people stepping forward to continue his mission. “32,000 new chapter requests in just 24 hours. This is an understanding where the real battleground is,” Corke said. “It’s not enough to have a wonderful moment — which we will over the next several days, culminating with his service — but it’s more important to really get out there and continue the conversation.”

Corke concluded with a prediction about the long-term impact: “This will birth an army of Charlie Kirks, and that will be his lasting legacy.”

Kirk, 31, was assassinated last week while addressing students at Utah Valley University. His murder has shaken the conservative movement, but the flood of new activism shows his vision will not only endure but multiply in the years ahead.
