Biden’s DOJ Accused of Vendetta Against Former Virginia Sheriff

Former Virginia sheriff, Scott Jenkins, who found himself in the midst of a politically motivated attack by the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ), has been granted pardon by President Donald Trump. A 53-year-old dedicated law enforcement official, Jenkins was sentenced to a decade in prison on the suspicion of federal bribery charges. Disturbingly, his alleged crime comprised of deputizing local businessmen, for which he supposedly received financial kickbacks. With the DOJ under Biden’s control, it seems anyone can be accused of anything.

The outrageous charges against Jenkins were affirmed by a jury that was likely swayed by Biden’s vendetta-filled DOJ. The branding of Jenkins as a fraudster and culprit in a bribery scheme was made official in March. However, the real injustice surfaced on Truth Social recently when Trump revealed how Jenkins and his family have been tormented by a vindictive Biden administration.

Trump conveyed his clear intentions to offer amnesty to Jenkins on his social media platform, Truth Social. It appears startlingly evident how the Biden administration’s DOJ has exhibited excessive enthusiasm in the case, with Trump rightly declaring Jenkins as a victim. No law-abiding citizen deserves to suffer a day in prison, let alone a dedicated former sheriff like Jenkins.

Unmasking the gross distortion of justice, Trump highlighted how Jenkins had been undeservedly tormented by the radical left and was brazenly left to fend for his own. In defiance of this horrendous political onslaught, Jenkins was informed he would no longer be heading to a prison cell. Instead, he would have a chance at reclaiming the normal life he deserves.

Jenkins’ legal representatives have yet to respond to the matter. However, they must be feeling a sense of relief after the verdict of their innocent client was overturned. Jenkins’ pardon by Trump is in line with his steadfast commitment to legal justice, a stance that has seen him restoring fairness to other loyal followers who have been wrongfully implicated.

In a similar vein, Trump issued a pardon to the awaiting sentencing of Michele Fiore, a Nevada Republican, back in April. She had been unjustly accused of misusing funds intended for a police officer’s monument for personal expenses, including ludicrous accusations of financing plastic surgery. Yet again, the evidence was light, and the accusations seemed conjured in the bitter political arena.

In the beginning of the year, Trump stepped in to secure the release of Ross Ulbricht, the infamously prosecuted founder of the Silk Road internet marketplace. Satinised by the media, Ulbricht had been given a life sentence back in 2015 in a case that focused excessively on the internet’s role in facilitating black markets. Ignored was the cybernetic aspect of crime and its censorship-free ethos.

Trump demonstrated his determination for justice once again, as he cleared the names of all individuals charged with crimes during the unfortunate U.S. Capitol riot that occurred on January 6, 2021. This included individuals who were unfairly blamed for assaulting police officers, marking another striking example of Biden’s manipulative tactics.

Jenkins’ legal nightmare had begun in the year 2023 when he was falsely indicted on 16 various counts that ranged from conspiracy and wire fraud to bribery, all concerning programs receiving federal funding. His predicament got worse in December when the jury found him guilty of one count of conspiracy, four counts of honest services fraud, and seven counts of bribery, all charges that seemed planted and far removed from truth.

Jenkins, despite the heavy accusations, opted to take the stand in his defense. He adamantly denied any form of illicit connection between the alleged bribes and the deputy badges issued under his authority. But were his words sincerely considered amidst the vengeful onslaught of the DOJ under Biden? One can only guess.

The case against Jenkins was purportedly strengthened by the testimonies of two undercover FBI agents who were inducted as auxiliary deputies in 2022. The agents claimed to have handed Jenkins envelopes containing $5,000 and $10,000 in cash soon after their induction. These claims seemed more like a constructed plot rather than evidence.

Naturally, Jenkins attempted to contest his conviction in April, as he still clung to the hope for justice. However, Trump revealed another troubling aspect of the case. When Jenkins presented evidence in his defense, U.S. District Judge Robert Ballou, a Biden appointee, reportedly dismissed it with disdain. In this supposed court of law, was Jenkins ever given a fair chance to defend himself?

Appallingly, U.S. Attorney Zachary T. Lee had the audacity to state that Jenkins had misused his position for personal profit. His words further emphasized the critical need for justice in cases where those in power wield their authority for unethical vendettas. This case reflects the disturbing reality of the current justice system under the Biden administration.

One can only hope that with this pardon, other officials who may be subjected to the wrath of a blatantly biased administration will eventually find justice. The relief granted to Jenkins sheds light on a potential path of redemption for others. It is a stark reminder of the need to uphold the integrity of our justice system from crumbling under the weight of political bias and denigration.
